Oprah Winfrey is set to give viewers a peek into Essence’s 9th annual Black Women in Hollywood event. OWN will air a primetime special featuring highlights from the star-studded celebration as well as exclusive interviews.
Honorees at this year’s event include actress Tracee Ellis Ross (“Black-ish”) and director, actress and producer Debbie Allen (“Grey’s Anatomy,” “Scandal”).
The guest list boasts Winfrey, Shonda Rhimes and Zendaya, among others.
Tune in to the event Saturday February 27 at 10 p.m.
