Faith Prince (A Catered Affair), Christine Sherrill (Mamma Mia), and Carmen Cusack (Wicked) have been announced as the women getting vengeance on their cheating ex-husbands in the new musical adaptation of First Wives Club.
Tony Award-winner Prince will play Bette Midler’s Brenda, Sherrill Goldie Hawn’s Elise, and Cusack Diane Keaton’s Annie in the stage production, which will feature new and classic songs. The book will be written by Designing Women creator Linda Bloodworth-Thomas.
Previews will begin at Chicago’s Oriental Theatre on February 17, 2015. The musical will run March 11–29, 2015.
