Jane Fonda to Star in ABC Comedy Now What?

As reported by Deadline, Jane Fonda will be starring in her first series ever for ABC.

After a guest spot on HBO’s Newsroom this season, Fonda is attached to star in ABC’s comedy Now What? Currently in development, the show follows Fonda’s character, a mother who is moving back in with her daughter. The catch is that the daughter has recently written a blog post entitled “Dear Mom, Here’s Why I Hate You…” This sounds like it’ll be an awkward living situation.

The script is written by Abby Gewanter.

We’re all on board to see Fonda headline a weekly TV series and a comedy. Let’s hope this one happens.
