Mother Monster is stepping in for Queen Bey. Lady Gaga will headline Coachella 2017 after Beyoncé, who is pregnant with twins, had to cancel the gig due to doctors’ orders. Billboard reports that the “Million Reasons” singer will headline both Saturday nights of the annual music festival in Indio, California. The six-time Grammy winner will take the stage April 15 and 22. Gaga will be the first female Coachella headliner in 10 years.

Gaga, who is known for her elaborate costumes and stage productions, is hot off rave reviews for her performance at the Super Bowl halftime show in early February. An estimated 118 million viewers tuned in to watch Fox’s live broadcast, making the performance the most-watched Super Bowl performance in history. She followed up the gig by singing alongside Metallica at the Grammy Awards, which took place just a week after football’s biggest night.

At the 2016 Oscars Gaga performed an emotional tribute to sexual assault survivors with “Till It Happens To You,” nominated for Best Original Song for “The Hunting Ground.” Footage from the ceremony showed that many audience members, including Rachel McAdams, were in tears. Towards the conclusion of the Diane Warren co-penned song, about three dozen brave survivors were invited to join Gaga onstage. (Sadly, “Till It Happens To You” didn’t take home the prize.)

The Golden Globe-winning “American Horror Story” actress has signed on to co-star with Bradley Cooper in his directorial debut, a remake of “A Star Is Born.”

Beyoncé has committed to headlining Coachella 2018.
