Lori Singer Honored with Career Retrospective at Maine International Film Festival

Acclaimed actress Lori Singer will be honored at the Maine International Film Festival with a career retrospective.

The retrospective will include screenings of her films “Footloose,” “Trouble in Mind,” “Short Cuts,” and her latest project, the documentary “God Knows Where I Am,” for which she provides narration of “the diaries of a mentally ill woman, through poignant and powerful readings.”

Singer was a cast member of the much-beloved “Fame” television series, and was most recently seen in “Experimenter.” She won a Golden Globe in 1993 as a part of special Best Ensemble category for “Short Cuts.”

Singer will be in attendance for all the screenings during the festival, which runs July 8–17, 2016. For more info and tickets, head to the Maine International Film Festival website.
